What to send us
A quote gets accurate quickly when we know four things: the shoot dates, the locations, what has to be moved or sourced, and how many days of prep the job needs. If you have a shot list, an equipment list or a designer’s list, send those too — they answer most of what we would otherwise have to ask. If you do not have all four yet, send what you have and we will tell you what is still open.
How we quote
We quote against the actual job rather than publishing a rate card, because the same shoot day can need one experienced person and a van or a prep day plus a small crew, and those are not the same number. The quote says what is in it and what would be billed on top, so there is no useful ambiguity about overtime, a second vehicle or a location that gets added.
What happens after you send it
We read everything that comes in and reply to all of it, including the enquiries we are not right for — in those cases we will say so and point you at who is. If the shoot is soon, call rather than write: a shoot in the next few days is a phone conversation, not an email thread. For anything with dates, locations and a list attached, email is faster.
